Polyvore Is Gone!

Hey my lovely Fashionistas! In case you hadn't heard the news, Polyvore was bought out by SSense and the transfer happened yesterday, mid-day without warning. I am (or at least I was *sobs*) a user of this site and a lot of my content came from there.

Polyvore was a great platform and a great community of creatives and I was just beginning to really unlock its potential for me and my blog content. I had sets that I had saved to post and thats gone and many users were in the middle of posting sets when it all disappeared 👻

From a business standpoint SSense handled this quite poorly. I put less of this on Polyvore becuase once you sell you are beholden to the wishes of the new owner. SSense took no consideration into the feelings and roll out of their plans on the users of Polyvore. However, now that there is a hole in the market I'm sure there will be many trying to capitalize off of Polyvore absence. The one that I will be checking out first is ShopLook.io. They are in their infancy stages but they seem promising.

I say all that to say this: I apologize for how crazy my blog looks right now! All of my beautiful pictures went poof! when the site transferred over to SSense. I am in the process of trying to fix it but don't worry, The Fabulous Shoe Maven has got you covered!

I will still be posting great stuff for you guys. My mission is still the same: to bring you fabulous clothing, shoes, trends and tips with coupons and deals splashed in along the way. Did I mention shoes? Lol.
