I think one of the best decisions I ever made was to be myself! I think we all have moments where we fear that we will not be accepted for who we are and so we had behind a facade. In the process we dim the light on the beautiful person we truly are.
I can't make people like me or think I'm pretty or beautiful and that is ok. But I can decide that I like me, that I think I'm beautiful and that my opinion is the most important.
I didn't realize that trying to be something I wasn't stunted the very beauty I wanted. I decided a long time ago that me being me is not only easier but necessary to my sanity, my pocketbook and my own self-worth and self-confidence.
Those who are willing to accept you will be drawn to the beauty that radiates from your authentic you.
True beauty happens when you are being you so let your true beauty shine through!
