We talked about sarongs earlier this week so continuing in that vein I thought I would talk about cover-ups at large.
Not everyone is comfortable walking around in a bathing suit at the beach, myself included. However, you want to look chic during your beach visit.
So what makes a good cover-up?
First, it needs to be light. Mumus and caftans fit the bill but these are not always the sexiest options out there. Since transparency is a big trend this summer, a sheer or see through dress, shorts or pants are a great cover-up option.

Second, they should reflect your personal style. Do you like fringe, crochet, shorts? You can definitely take risks with your vacation style but it should still reflect who you are and most importantly be something you love and feel comfortable in.
