My favorite thing about back to school is the sales on home decor. This is a fashion blog but I don't just like looking good, I like my spaces to look good as well.
I'm a fashionista on a budget (as you well know) and during back to school this is when I can get picture frames, bedding, mattress pads, art, lamps, kitchen wares, you name it I can get it for a fraction of the price.
When I was a single girl I would save my pennies for August, me and my studio apartment were decked out with bed sets, paintings, towels, new dishes, pots, pans, a Keurig - because your girl loves coffee. Its really a bargain shoppers dream.
One of my favorite places for these exact items is Gilt!
My bedroom, bathroom and kitchen are basically a Gilt advertisement lol.
They have great deals and its great quality stuff that I otherwise wouldn't be able to afford.
