It is officially sweater weather here in NYC and turkey day is right around the corner.
The menu is chosen, the decor is set, the guests all rsvped now you just have to figure out what to wear.
Yikes!
No worries. I’ve got you covered with my top 3 hacks to nail your Thanksgiving style. And you own most of these things already.
First, layer. This is important for a number of reasons. If you live up north like me you are going from a cold climate to a warm house. Then all the food, libations, pie and coffee could send your body temp over the edge. Make sure you aren’t sweating to the oldies over your dinner. Accomplish this with a cardigan that you can take off if you get too hot.
Second, wear leggings. I’m a total foodie! And besides spending time with family what I Look most forward to is the eats! So I wear leggings. That way I can eat what I want and still be comfortable. Leggings started out as a fad but now seem to be here to stay. Grab a ponte pair to be fashionable and comfortable without looking like yoga pants.
Third, knee boots! Boots are a fall staple and a chic pair of knee boots instantly elevates any outfit. Plus, you can jazz them up with knee socks for a relaxed dinner at home or wear a stiletto pair to impress at friendsgiving.
