April and Earth Month is almost over but I had to share this new way to join the circular economy. It's Poshmark meets Rent the Runway.
Have you ever looked on Instagram and coveted you're favorite influencers Closet but the items are just too expensive? Well now you can rent the items in their personal closet!
It's super cool! Wardrobe is an app that allows fashionistas to rent their closets! It launched in December 2018 and already has over 1,000 closets that you can rent from. And I am now one of them.
I had the incredibly cool privilege of heading to their studio and getting my wardrobe up and running. It took about an hour and it was a great experience.
I am the Fabulous Shoe Maven so my wardrobe is gonna be focused on my shoe collection. I have 5 pairs currently listed so definitely go check it out with more to come.
I love it because it's just another way to be sustainable. Plus, you can continuously make money on items that you hardly wear. Unlike a sale where it's a one and done.
You can rent items from a week to a month and give as little as 12hr notice! So special event? Prom? Girls night out? You can rent my closet (and many others) on Wardrobe.
It's currently only in NYC so all my NYC fashionistas need to go download the app!
