Today's thought could be interpreted a lot of ways. But As a creative i see it from the stand point of manifestation. When I come up with the blog theme for the month or an opportunity to share with you guys I first dream about how it will look. What ends up on the blog is the manifestation of that dream. My design of it.
We all start out with a dream or dreams. For example, Whether it's her sweet sixteen or her prom or her wedding, girls all start out with the dream of what it can be and then we go about executing it based on any number of factors like budget, current trends, etc.
I imagine for a clothing designer it's not just a pair of pants or a blouse or a piece of jewelry. It's the physical manifestation of the dream they have been nurturing.
It's similar when a techie develops a new app or software. When that scientist finally got her picture of a black hole. When my daughter finally reaches that item that caught her eye that had been just out of reach. It's the dream that you worked so hard for, come true.
What are some of your dreams? Are you working toward them?
Don't just design/plan your life, your work, your goals, your clothes. Design the dreams you hold close, that you don't tell anyone but yourself. They won't come true if you don't design them.
