Bridal Beauty with Nomi Beauty

May 13, 2019 0 comments
When I was getting married, 5 years ago in December, I wish I has known about Nomi Beauty.

I was on a pretty tight budget. I'm a fashionista in NYC so you KNOW weddings in the Big Apple are expensive. So I made an appointment at the bareMinerals makeup counter in the mall to get my wedding makeup done.

It came out beautifully and I absolutely loved it but...

There are two reasons now, hindsight is 20/20, why I would do this differently.

First, Although my makeup was gorgeous, I missed out on a great photo opportunity. My photographer was like, "Did we miss the makeup artist?" And then it dawned on me oh yeah, that's part of the "getting ready" set of pictures. I had to recreate it by pretending to put my makeup on myself. lol

Second, it would have saved me so much time! While getting my makeup done at the makeup counter was free  -I bought the lip color the makeup artist used though cuz I loved it so much- I was running around like a chicken with my head cut off that day. I was rushing from here to here and barely had enough time to eat let alone breathe or reflect. If I had someone come to me it would have been one less stop.

Nomi Beauty which is based in NYC, does both hair and makeup and they say they "bring the backstage of a fashion runway to your doorstep". Their artists have worked with high profile clients including Hollywood stars and top fashion brands and they guarantee that they will make "you look amazing in person, in pictures and in your video".

Wedding makeup runs $200 & they can do your bridal party too.

Now they don't just do bridal. They do hair and makeup for other events or just because, massages, facials, you can even take a makeup lesson!

So if you are an NYC gal check them out!

Happy Shopping!
