I'm on team natural and I spend most of the summer in braids because the heat is just a lot. Sweat = Frizz. And those braids usually end up in a top knot. Because hair is hot. lol
Side Note: I have nothing against the creamy crack aka perms. I've used to get them from 14 til 28. Then I had kids and I just don't have time to sit in the beauty parlor for a thousand hours. lol. I miss them sometimes.
This summer will be no different. However, there will be more hoops making an appearance. Before I had kids I rocked hoops all the time. When I was little I fell in love with hoops because of my aunt. She passed away many years ago now but her love of hoops was the dopest, most New Yorkest thing ever. Fly girls wore hoops and she definitely was. I miss her.

However, small children like to pull things, like hoop earring so I haven't been wearing them until recently. This summer my kids will be 2 and 4 so the hoops and big earrings are making a comeback.
