It's June and we are talking summer trends. It's officially summer on the 26th but it's already hot out here in NYC.
Summertime for me means bold accessories, Starbucks Iced Passion Fruit tea, popsicles and wedges.
Many of Spring's trends have transitioned into summer so make sure you check out my faves.
Below I share the summer trends I plan to rocking.
Mules
I've been rocking sandals as soon as the temps hit the 60s lol. But mules or slides as they are sometimes called are a big part of my shoe rotation.
I even bought a Seychelles pair not too long ago from Gilt that will be getting a lot of summertime sunshine.
Bright Colors
When we talked Spring trends I told you that neon would be big and I wasn't lying. In summer I tend to wear light fabrics in bright colors. You'll see me in yellows mostly but this summer I'll be incorporating hot pinks, bright oranges and electric blue too.

Midi Sun Dresses
As I have gotten older I have a new appreciation for midi dresses. Elle calls them Modern Tea Dresses. Maxis are cool but I'm short which means they often trip me up. But Midi dresses hit at just the right length.They offer a great silhouette, wear great at the office and help with thigh sweat. Lol. Plus, I'm no longer a fan of having my bare legs on NYC subway seats so my short dress vocab is limited.
Big Earrings
I love earrings and normally the bigger the better. Then I had kids. Lol. Now that they are older I'm bringing them back with a vengeance. Nothing says summer to me more than a top knot and big hoops.
