#Wednesday Wisdom- It Will Come

What's meant to be will always find a way.

I started a new job this week and I was crazy nervous. I've never been that nervous to start a job before and I think it's because I knew a lot would be excepted of me and I had high expectations as well.

I had applied to work for this company 10 years ago and didn't get picked. I was green, fresh out of college and hungry. I had really wanted the job. Went in for the interview and thought I had it only to find out I didn't.

I was super bummed 🙁

Fast forward to now: I'm a seasoned professional plus a wife with two kids with the opportunity to work for the company that got away. It was a bit surreal and scary. What if I didn't measure up? What if the company I idealized fell flat? How would this move affect my family?

So far it's been great. It's also day 3 lol.

I say all this to say that 10 years ago it wasn't my time. No matter how bad I wanted it. But now is the right time. If something is meant for you it will happen for you. It might be 10 years before the door opens again but don't be discouraged.

What is meant for you will happen for you. No one can take that away. And I believe there are amazing things in store for all of us.
