While many of the things planned had to be changed we still need to celebrate our Earth and come together now more than ever.

Earlier this year I joined Generation Good to do more part to help the planet. Whether bringing awareness, shopping secondhand or recycling more every little bit helps.

So what are things you can do to help the planet?

Recycle! This is more than just trash it includes clothes, shoes, home goods, furniture, etc which is why I shop secondhand. It keeps things out of landfills, extending its life and lowering fashion's footprint. While most thrifts are closed because of the virus there are a lot of thrifts and consignment shops on online that you can take advantage of. Reuse. I have a lot of plastic in my house. The reason? I reuse it over and over and over again. For snacks for my kids. To hold clothes. To store food. As lunch containers. As plates. As toy boxes. As shoe boxes. Look for things that can be reused to limit the amount of trash that ends up in landfills.



Education. The level of the problem is massive and can be overwhelming. So start small. You don't have to do a lot to make an impact. Seventh Generation is a good start and connects you to a community of like minded individuals.
