Happy Summer my Fabulous Fashionistas!
I hope you all are able to enjoy the summer sun. Although its not our traditional summer I'm happy to be able to go outside with my kids in our front year and run around and play. It helps with the stir crazy feeling and the fresh air does a body good.

Now just because we can't go out and be seen doesn't mean I won't be sharing summer's hottest trends. There are still plenty of opportunities to be seen from the comfort of your home; Zoom, Webinars, Instagram, your Mirror 😄.
Not for nothing, this list is tailored to the Summer Trends you can wear in your house, lounging around or, if you're like me, sitting at your kitchen table/office in virtual meetings.
Check out my Top 5 Favorite Summer Trends below!
Linen
I love linen and now more than ever. It is the BEST summer fabric. Don't debate me. Lol. Worn is pants, shorts, dresses and tops, they are the perfect lounge outfit. Super comfortable and lightweight. And since you are at home who cares about wrinkles?! My go-to are a pair of beige or black linen pants. Now you'd think shorts but I've got big thighs and they rub when I walk. In the summer that is a recipe for sweat. Pants eliminate that and linen helps my skin breathe.
Baby Doll Dresses
My husband doesn't understand them but I love them! My new obsession are a version of this, the Smocked Dress. For me, being a curvier girl, they give me the ability to wear a short dress without fear of my booty being exposed. The volume added the illusion of more dress. Plus they give a great boho vibe and look great with platforms or wedges and bangles, lots of bangles. Its a short version of my WFH Uniform.
Bralettes
Not by themselves, though if you are daring I'm sure you could. Its just that I hate underwires! Especially in summer, when the heat makes them suck even more. Lol. But since we are at home, you can wear a cute bralette to the office. Since most virtual meetings are chest up anyway throw on a blazer for the meeting and take off once the meeting is over. Look good and be comfortable. Who will know?
Pink and Orange
Neon colors seem to always pop up during the summer. I'm not down with the bright lime greens and electric yellows but I can get with oranges and pinks. In summer they remind me of sunsets and if you've ever seen a New York summer sunset over the city skyline it's pretty incredible. This color pairing works best on those days when rain and huricanes keep you stuck inside. They add some bright to the dreary.
Mixed Prints
I LOVE Mixed Prints. Why, I don't know, but when they are done right they are awesome! In summer I especially love the mix of florals and colors. They add a punch and exude the essence of this time of year; fun, carefree and bright! We all need a little reminder of that right now.
