It’s Spring!
At least it’s supposed to be. Not sure if Mother Nature knows but it is. There
are a lot of trends floating in the ethos but you know that I have been keeping my
eye on the ones that I think can be easily integrated into your existing
wardrobe with staying power.
Below are the
top 3 spring trends
that I’m the most excited
about.
Yellow. When you think of yellow we think bright like the sun but this is a
much more muted yellow which I love. There was this yellow linen dress I had
back in the day when I was still a size small. Looking forward to scoring a
new one this season.
Vogue
Pro tip: Buy a few statement pieces in this trend. Think investment dress,
statement purse, and/or chunky jewelry. Fashion cycles, so wear them now,
and when it comes back in style, wear it again.. Or wear it just because
you love. Besides, yellow is always a summer color. I wear yellow every summer without having to buy
something new.
This was a hot silhouette last fall/winter, and it is still on fire. Now
that I see it’s not a fly-by-night trend, I’m ready to add a pair to my
wardrobe. There are many more options now. Not just jeans but work pants as
well. Quince has some
fantastic workwear options.
Harper's BAZAAR
Stylish, structured pieces, worn separate or together and paired with soft
feminine touches like ruffles. My favorite piece is all of the vest! They
transition well to summer, look great in the office or after hours and they
look good with pants, jeans, shorts, a skirt or a dress.
