We can get so caught up sometimes in the trends, especially during weddings. But don't be a slave to trends. I follow trends - i.e. this blog - but when it comes to my own personal style I choose what I like and what fits me best regardless of the trend.
My wedding dress was all lace, three-quarter sleeve with a champagne satin sash, and a short train. When I was getting married 4 years ago NONE of that was in style and on trend lol. Lace was considered old fashioned and sleeves - fuggetaboutit! Sleeves were not a thing because everything was sleeveless. It took me forever to find what I was looking for but I stuck to my guns and found the dress I wanted to wear.
